FanDuel Group is seeking a Senior Director, Responsible Gaming & Community Impact to lead the company’s efforts in protecting our customers, strengthening our communities, and advancing our corporate responsibility strategy.

This role blends strategic leadership in Responsible Gaming (RG) and Community Impact (CI) — ensuring FanDuel not only leads the industry in safer play, but also in social responsibility, sustainability, and community engagement. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Policy & Sustainability, this leader will develop and execute initiatives that uphold FanDuel’s values, enhance our reputation, and foster trust with customers, regulators, employees, and communities.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Design and implement a unified Responsible Gaming and Community Impact strategy aligned with FanDuel’s business goals and regulatory expectations.
  • Translate global Flutter safer gambling priorities into actionable North American strategies that are measurable, transparent, and impactful.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader on Responsible Gaming and Community Impact across FanDuel, representing the company externally with regulators, legislators, industry groups, and community partners.

Responsible Gaming Strategy

  • Ensure FanDuel meets Flutter’s global RG requirements and reporting obligations, advancing a culture of responsible play and customer care.
  • Engage and manage third party partners, including RG Ambassadors, vendors, and advocates to assist FanDuel in achieving its Responsible Gaming goals.
  • Help shape, define and promote the FanDuel Responsible Gaming story for FanDuel’s users, stakeholders and employees.

Community Impact & Corporate Responsibility

  • Lead the development of FanDuel’s community engagement and corporate social responsibility strategy, ensuring alignment with company values and regulatory commitments.
  • Oversee partnerships with nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and government agencies that amplify FanDuel’s impact in key focus areas such as sustainability, equity, education, and responsible play.
  • Manage FanDuel’s community investment and volunteerism programs, ensuring initiatives are measurable, inclusive, and meaningful for both employees and the communities we serve.
  • Partner with Communications, External Affairs, and Brand teams to showcase FanDuel’s CSR efforts, reinforcing the company’s reputation as a responsible operator and corporate citizen.

Stakeholder Engagement & Employee Advocacy

  • Inspire and engage employees in volunteerism, charitable giving, and RG awareness programs to build a culture of accountability and community connection.
  • Communicate progress and impact to key stakeholders including employees, executives, regulators, investors, and partners through transparent reporting and storytelling.
  • Represent FanDuel at industry conferences, community events, and philanthropic initiatives to enhance visibility and credibility in RG and CSR leadership.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Public Policy, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Responsible Gaming, Corporate Social Responsibility, or a related strategic leadership role in a highly regulated industry.
  • Proven success building and scaling social impact or regulatory programs with measurable business and community outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of data-driven strategy and the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills across diverse stakeholders — from executive leadership to community partners.
  • Strong executive presence, capable of representing FanDuel externally and driving cross-functional alignment internally.
  • A self-starter with passion, integrity, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
