About this Position

The Social Media Specialist will administer response/monitoring efforts across many of Primerica’s digital touchpoints, providing first-rate customer service through accurate communications and timely follow up. This includes Primerica’s corporate social media pages (including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and LinkedIn), Primerica’s online ratings and reviews (including Primerica and RVP office Google reviews), and daily monitoring and alerting (as applicable) of social listening efforts. Responsibilities for this role include participating in a rotating weekend schedule to monitor and engage with corporate social media accounts, ensuring timely responses even outside of standard business hours. This position reports to the Senior Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager.

While working on daily response/monitoring efforts for many of Primerica’s digital touchpoints, the Social Media Specialist will also collaborate on social media content development, working with the Social Media Content Writer and Social Media Graphic Designer on applicable social media content projects. Finally, the Social Media Specialist will assist on social media webinars and travel approximately 4-5 times per year with the Social Media Field Marketing Manager to assist with representing the team at company meetings and conventions.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle online issue mitigation and customer retention efforts, a creative knack for social media content, and the aptitude to positively represent the team at field-facing events.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Deliverables:

  • Daily administration of digital community management of Primerica corporate channels including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and LinkedIn, looking to the Sr. Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager (their manager) for strategy and QA
  • Managing customer feedback from online sources such as Google and other rating and review sites
  • Following all decision and issue resolution processes documented in the job aids maintained by the Sr. Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager to address actionable concerns/inquiries
  • When necessary, triaging action items to operational areas and product teams for assessment, ensuring to follow up appropriately until a resolution is found
  • Consulting with the Sr. Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager on a quarterly basis to maintain and contribute to the pre-approved response matrix for FAQs/issues and other process documents
  • Executing efficient workflow to adhere to department-established service level agreements (SLAs) concerning response times and resolutions
  • Contributing best practices for the effective implementation of digital customer feedback monitoring and response processes
  • Complying with business needs efficiently, such as quick turnaround times on projects and varied stakeholder expectations
  • Occasionally presenting reports on social media and digital community management metrics to assist the overall team in their goals
  • Social media content writing and/or graphic design in collaboration with the social media content team
  • Assist Social Media Field Marketing Manager on field-facing webinars
  • Occasional travel (approximately 4-5 times per year) with the Social Media Field Marketing Manager to represent the team at field-facing events
  • Leverage approved AI tools and platforms (e.g. for content creation, social media responses, analytics, and trend monitoring) to optimize social media strategies and improve engagement; must have working knowledge of current AI technologies relevant to social media

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is required (Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or related)
