Job Profile Summary
This role focuses on assessing the needs of patients who have physical, mental, or emotional disabilities and delivering therapy services to improve their developmental, physical or cognitive impairment. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Physical Therapy duties: Provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy, and develops treatment plans. A management role that supervises employees focusing on tactical, operational activities within a specified area, with the majority of time spent overseeing area of responsibility, planning, prioritizing and/or directing the responsibilities of employees. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and/or indirect reports. A role that supervises all levels of employees. Responsibilities that typically include: Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results, problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex, and ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
Job Overview
This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Physical Therapy / outpatient clinic to ensure profitability, growth, customer satisfaction, and ethical practice. Communicates, interprets and supports the philosophy and policies of the Department and organization to facilitate effective rapport with all customer groups, including patients, families, staff and physicians. Responsible for ensuring that staff documentation complies with all policy and procedures of the department, organization, regulatory agencies, and JCAHO. As a clinician, treats and evaluates patients with a wide variety of disabilities to promote the patient’s maximum level of function.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy.
2. Physical Therapy License.
3. Three (3) years of prior supervisory experience including coaching, goal attainment, performance improvement and corporate compliance.

1. Supports efforts to increase productivity and revenue generation. Adheres to policies for cost containment and waste reduction.
2. Compiles daily, weekly and monthly statistical reports based on visits, units, revenue, and costs generated by each department and submits them in a timely manner.
3. Addresses changes in the productivity of the departments and implements solutions to improve the capability of the site to increase productivity and meet all budget expectations.
4. Monitors and ensures compliance with regulatory and government agencies (CMS, JCAHO, DPH, etc.). Ensures the staff is compliant with competencies, Joint Commission requirements, hospital and departmental policies.
