Position Summary
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and inventory operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and transacting materials accurately and efficiently. This role ensures inventory integrity, supports production and kitting activities, and maintains timely material flow throughout the organization. The Stockroom Clerk works closely with Shipping, Receiving, Kitting, Planning, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure material availability and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and complete system transactions.
- Put away materials into designated storage locations while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Pick, stage, and issue materials for production, service, and customer orders.
- Support kitting operations by accurately picking and delivering components to manufacturing.
- Perform inventory transactions using SAP and other business systems.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain FIFO inventory practices and proper material identification.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as required.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, efficiency, and workplace organization.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/WMS systems
- Forklift or powered industrial truck experience
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory control processes
- Experience supporting kitting, shipping, receiving, and material movement activities
- Understanding of FIFO and inventory management practices
- Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement experience

- 1+ years of warehouse, stockroom, inventory, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience
