The impact you will have in this role: 

Extended Run Resilience Test Environment team is a Team within the wider Enterprise Product and Platform Engineering (EPPE) Function. 

About this Opportunity 

What You'll Do 

• Managing the MiniDR resilience test environments (both mainframe and distributed) used by many collaborators across the firm
• Planning and completing the annual regulatory requirement to prove that DTCC core clearing and settlement products can be effectively run in the Disaster Recovery region for an extended period of time (called “Extended Run”)
• Lead all aspects of the Extended Run testing – planning, spec writing, dry runs (also called shakeouts), the audited Extended Run test, and publishing all detailed reports
• Develop and publish service catalog covering all Resilience Test Environments
• Meet with Business, Application Development (AD), Enterprise App Support (EAS), and Management to review requirements
• Publish calendars, dashboards and status reports to ensure all collaborators are kept informed
• Ensure that functional specs and all runbooks are up to date before any test begins
• Automating manual tasks associated with the setup, execution, and regulatory reporting of the Extended Run programs
• Ensure that all collaborators have accurate information about the services offered, and how to request the services
• Publish up to date calendars showing planned activities in each test environment
• Host regular meetings with AD and infrastructure service owners in each area to review status and address issues
• Ensure that all tasks completed by the team have fully documented procedures suitable for review by both internal and external auditors
• Ensure that the team is fully in compliance with all DTCC policies and standards.

Talent Needed for Success: 

Minimum of 7 years of related experience 

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Additional Qualifications 

• 7+ years of IT experience including application development and deployment on a wide range of diverse infrastructure types
• Must have experience with all aspects of Resilient data center management: 
• Multi-Region configuration, Disaster Recovery testing, and managing replication.
• Must be able to manage plans involving:
• Mainframe and distributed hosting, network, storage, messaging, identity management, encryption
• Must have expertise in Project Management 
• Certification in at least one Project Management discipline
• Expert MS Office skills. Effective use of Powerpoint and Excel statistical functions 
• Detail oriented, excellent at follow-through on actions, able to prioritize and focus on most urgent tasks
• Experience using Agile techniques and tools – scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
