Cloud Engineer (Senior) - Remote

ICF is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted consulting company, seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer. This engineer will need to help maintain and monitor an existing AWS deployment with an ATO. They will need to be able to deploy custom software to this environment and verify functionality. The ICF team performs custom software development to meet the needs of our clients. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.

What you will be doing:

• Reviewing logs for unusual activity
• Reviewing vulnerability reports and patching system and software vulnerabilities
• Setting up and running deployment pipelines and verifying software deployments
• Updating ATO documentation
• Reviewing backups to ensure they are correct
• Maintaining machine images
• Restoring backups as needed

What you must have (Required Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline 
• 5+ years of experience with configuring and maintaining cloud deployments, including:
  • Creating and configuring compute instances
  • Configuring database instances
  • Reviewing system and access logs
  • Restoring backups
  • CI/CD
• 2+ years of experience working in modern software engineering and product development methodologies, including Agile

• Experience with JavaScript application frameworks such as React JS, Angular.js, Vue.js, Ember, or similar Web application frameworks
• AWS certifications
