About the Position:

Bose Professional is looking for an intern with a working knowledge of software development and an interest in automated testing wishing to develop their skills and gain real-world software engineering experience at an innovative and thriving high-technology company.
You will work in a tight-knit team of Software, Firmware, DSP, SQA and Test Automation Engineers to develop best in class professional audio software applications used to design, configure, and control Bose Professional audio amplifiers and signal processors that are used to drive our award-winning loudspeakers.
Using your programming skills, you will be creating and maintaining automated tests for a wide range of applications, gaining experience in testing desktop, web, hybrid and mobile applications, end-to-end testing of systems with physical hardware devices as well as contributing to the development of a cross-platform, multi-product, software and hardware Test Automation Framework.

Responsibilities:
- Review and assist in the development of robust test cases.
- Write automated tests that interface via GUI and/or command APIs.
- Assist with the development of the testing framework and libraries to enhance capabilities.
- Execute automated test runs and assist with the analysis of the results.
- Participate in team planning meetings.
Requirements:
- Computer Science or Engineering major.
- Experience programming in Python.
- Understanding of software development and testing best practices.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
- Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Design concepts would be helpful.
- Ability to self-manage and collaborate in a team environment.
