Part-time Investments Associate- Student Opportunity

At Sentry, we have a dedication to cultivating home-grown talent across our organization. We currently have a great opportunity for a UW-Stevens Point student to work part-time and gain work experience on our Investments team.

This temporary position will provide you with practical experience and exposure to investment asset classes and investment department opportunities. This is a part-time position that will work up to December 2024. If you are detail-oriented and a motivated learner, this could be the right opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do

You’ll gain knowledge of the different asset classes of investments and their unique characteristics along with experience using the systems employed to manage them. You’ll also work closely with skilled professionals in a dynamic work environment in your role to:

• Assist with entry of, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of data related to various securities transactions.
• Assist with testing, verifying and producing various reports.
• Communicate with various internal departments, maintain records and update department procedures.  .

What it Takes

To be eligible for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics or Finance
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Available for 15-20 hours per week from May through December
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience
