We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Lab & Greenhouse Technician - Biomaterial & Regulatory to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

As a Senior Specialist, Lab & Greenhouse Technician - Biomaterial & Regulatory you will support Seeds and Traits (S&T) research and development (R&D) and Regulatory activities and associated systems in dedicated laboratories, greenhouses, and field activities at specific locations in North America. This support will be done in collaboration with the global R&D support organization, following established processes and protocols.

As a Senior Specialist, Lab & Greenhouse Technician - Biomaterial & Regulatory, you create chemistry by...

• Working on analysis and solution of incidents in Labs and Greenhouses
• Installing PC’s & software, connecting instruments to the PC’s, connecting PC’s to the network 
• Documenting incidents in the appropriate tool (e.g. JIRA/AHD/Service Now)
• Giving feedback to the affected users
• Working accordingly with procedures to ensure Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) compliance for validated lab systems
• Providing communication with rest of the lab support team and other global resolver teams 
• Documenting the solution in the agreed documentation wiki
• Driving & managing small projects in the Digital Lab environment
• Consulting on digital solutions, security measures in the lab environment

If you have...

• High school Diploma or GED (required) and IT education/certification.
• 7 or more years of experience in a technical R&D and regulatory environment
• Overview of the biological R&D technical system landscape to be supported, preferred
• Good knowledge of IT ticket processing, preferred
• Ability to navigate a large global organization 
• High customer orientation 
• High ambition to solve requests (‘get the job done’ attitude) 
• Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking 
• Flexibility & Mobility with regards to assisting the customer
