We are a team of cloud professionals who love working with others to solve challenging technical problems. We are committed to personal development and enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience through blogging, training, public speaking, and contributing to open-source.</p> <p>As a Senior Cloud Architect - Data and Analytics, AWS, you will be responsible for. Migrating data and analytics workloads to the cloud, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices, We work hands-on, side-by-side, with our customers to educate, mentor, advise, and solve problems to ensure they get the most out of what the cloud offers.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Big Data challenges</li> <li>Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders</li> <li>Communicate effectively via video conferencing for meetings, technical reviews and onsite delivery activities </li> <li>Self-organized, Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious</li> <li>Analytical, Data-driven, detail-oriented and able to “zoom” in/out from the big picture to the minutiae.</li> <li>Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience with data storage &amp; processing tools and frameworks such as Redshift, BigTable; AWS Kinesis, Redshift, Athena, AWS Glue, AWS EMR, Flink</li> <li>Experience architecting and developing internet-scale, production-grade data solutions in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud with the focus on selecting appropriate tools to tackle the business problem at the right scale</li> <li>Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go, Rust</li> <li>Experience working with cloud data storage, data warehousing, and/or data lake architectures, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytic frameworks</li> <li>Experience with designing highly-available databases for serving transactional web-scale low-latency traffic.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Bonus Points</strong></p> <ul> <li>AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty</li> <li>AWS Certified Professional Solution Architect an Advantage.</li> </ul> <h1><strong>Are you a Do’er?</strong></h1> <p>Be your truest self.
