ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

As the Merchandise Program Coordinator, you will play an important role in overseeing various large merchandise programs for our customers. The responsibilities include identifying revenue opportunities, ensuring production consistency and accuracy through robust quality control standards, and effectively communicating both internally and externally. This position demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Strategically identify and execute revenue-enhancing opportunities within large merchandise programs, leveraging market insights and customer trends.
• Establish and uphold stringent quality control standards to ensure the consistent and accurate production of all program elements, including product quality, packaging, and fulfillment processes.
• Effectively convey the status of merchandise programs internally and externally, sharing insights on program performance, opportunities for remerchandising, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, production, and logistics to align strategies and propel program success.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to identify opportunities for program enhancement and mutual growth.
• Generate virtual mockups of apparel and logo decoration, providing accurate pricing based on project requirements.
• Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators to monitor program performance, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Requirements

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

• Proven experience in program management or related roles, emphasizing merchandise programs, retail operations, and supply chain management.
• Comprehensive understanding of merchandising principles, product lifecycle management, and supply chain processes.
• Exceptional communication skills: adept at conveying complex concepts and influencing stakeholders across all levels.
• Strategic thinking and analytical prowess: capable of translating data into actionable insights and driving results in dynamic environments.
• Comfortable conducting effective client engagement via telephone calls.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Preferably, knowledge of the apparel business and/or the Promotional Products Industry.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE COMPUTER SKILLS

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in marketing, merchandising or a minimum of 2+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Computer Skills  

Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including word, Excel, Sorting and summarization, Outlook, PowerPoint.
