Supervisor, IT Applications FIRSTeam - Pay Range: $109,500.00 -$142,250.00
Join Our Team as Supervisor, IT Applications – First Team!
We’re looking for a strong, tech-savvy leader to join our team as the Supervisor of IT Applications – First Team. In this role, you’ll lead a highly skilled group responsible for the development, maintenance, and real-time support of critical enterprise applications and databases used by Operations, Engineering, and Business Services. The First Team operates on a 6-week, 24x7 shift rotation, and this position plays a key role in ensuring uninterrupted system performance. This role is remote-eligible, providing flexibility while supporting essential operations.
As Supervisor, you will manage team schedules, monitor first-tier system triage and recovery, and ensure effective coordination with internal departments and support teams. You'll be responsible for staffing and overseeing all aspects of First Team operations, ensuring systems are running smoothly around the clock. In addition, you will support compliance efforts related to EMBC, CIP, and Operations standards, while serving as a liaison between IT, business partners, and engineering. You may also represent the organization at industry-level forums such as SPP and NERC committees and working groups.

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology-related field, or equivalent job-related experience
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Required:
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Flexibility and the ability to function with constantly changing and multiple priorities
- General knowledge of operating systems, application development and support, and database management systems
- Proven troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Understanding of, compliance with and enforcement of SPP Policies and Procedures
Preferred:
- Five (5) years utility industry experience
- Five (5) years of team leadership experience
- A variety of experience in Information Technology applications projects
- General knowledge of SPP Operations functions, processes, procedures
