Position Summary

The Senior Advisory Analyst will support all levels of Advisors, in their work of advising clients to improve the work systematics, improve quality of service and increase time dedicated to client management. This role will serve as back-up for advisors, monitor investment portfolios, prepare investment proposals, collaborate in product campaigns, among other duties.This role will also allow the Senior Advisory Analyst to meet clients and understand the dynamics established with clients and bankers.

Position Duties / Responsibilities

• Prepare investment proposals and support in the processing of those proposals, as instructed by advisors.             
• Support advisors in the systematic review of client portfolios to facilitate advisors' monitoring of portfolios. Support advisors in reviewing/monitoring positions in securities, to facilitate advisors' investment recommendations to clients.            
• Collaborate with advisors and Director of Portfolio Advisory, in the management of product campaigns.            
• Monitor maturities in investment portfolios.            
• Support in the follow-up of corporate actions recommendations.            
• Serve as back-up for advisors by addressing clients requests and resolve any issues, as needed.            
• Participate in forums for investment ideas and recommendations, such as preparing bond listings, structured ideas, etc., and support in the communication process.            
• Prepare presentations and reports for client and prospective client meetings, as instructed by advisors.            
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. 

 Job Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience 

3 - 5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency

• Knowledge of financial markets
• Strong sales skills
• Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Knowledge of Bloomberg
• Self-starter, ability to work independently, ability to properly prioritize and manage time, strong work ethics, team player
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

CFA is a plus.

English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.

Duties are performed in an office environment.  Physical demands could involve any or all of the following: digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in the operation of office equipment; light to moderate lifting (10-20 lbs.) and carrying of supplies, files, etc; the ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees both telephone calling and in person; and body motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office location to another.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Maximum:

$100,000.00 USD
