As a Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will be trusted to support work on a program involving Cybersecurity Engineering and Compliance, Risk Management Assessment, Authorization and Accreditation, Threat Intelligence, Threat Detection, Incident Management and Response, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and Identity and Access Management.

HOW A CYBERSECURITY PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Directs technical teams and facilitates the integration of subtasks to ensure the optimal use of assigned resources and subcontractors
  • Serves as focal point to the Government for managing all tasks and subtasks and as Principal Representative for project direction and providing project status updates, including financial status, and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Briefs and reports on significant issues, provides recommended solutions in a transparent manner, and takes corrective action to issues
  • Support briefings, meetings and communicate recommendations and contract status
  • Manage the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and sustaining activities
  • Support development of policies, strategies, and communications relative to cybersecurity
  • Effectively manage, monitor, and communicate enterprise security risk by maintaining visibility across the enterprise
  • Reduce cost and optimize enterprise cybersecurity posture through efficiencies, reciprocity, security shared services, and automation
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the cybersecurity services team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs
  • Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous learning within the cybersecurity team
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution of the managed cybersecurity services contract
  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry developments, and incorporate relevant advancements into the cybersecurity strategy
  • Ensures compliance with all policy, process, regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, Science, Business or related discipline; OR in lieu of degree, an additional four (4) years of experience is required
  • Certification (one or more of the following):
    • PMP Project Management Professional
    • GSLC: GIAC Security Leadership Certification
    • GCPM: GIAC Certified Project Manager Certification

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of IT delivery experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience with planning and managing security engagements
  • A minimum of five (5) years of leading projects involving Agile methodology

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience managing ID/IQ TO contracts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Previous USPS experience (preferred)

Security Clearance Level:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
  • This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 m
