What we are looking for

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager/ISSO professiomal to support our federal customer.

 

In this role, you will ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity and records management policies across multiple system environments. You will be responsible for overseeing lifecycle security, audit readiness, and continuity of operations for a high-availability platform that supports emergency response efforts. This position also includes responsibilities related to federal records management, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, policies, and lifecycle requirements.

 

Location: Mobile, AL (on-site)

 

 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

 

Cybersecurity & ISSO Duties

  • Lead and manage all phases of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
  • Maintain the system security package in eMASS for all operational environments.
  • Integrate cybersecurity practices into the development and maintenance of web apps, databases, and system components.
  • Apply applicable DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across system configurations.
  • Evaluate cybersecurity posture against standards including NIST, HIPAA, and PHI.
  • Conduct vulnerability and compliance reviews, issue mitigation recommendations, and support system ATO processes.
  • Support code review and change management processes for secure application deployment.
  • Monitor ongoing system performance for compliance with cybersecurity and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, PMs, and Government stakeholders to advise on risks, mitigations, and policy changes.
  • Lead cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives for both government and contractor staff.Records Management Duties
  • Implement Army and USACE records management policies, ensuring alignment with legal and administrative requirements.
  • Manage the lifecycle of records including review, deactivation, archiving, and proper disposal per approved disposition schedules.
  • Ensure system data handling and records practices are compliant with Army Archive and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) standards.
  • Stay current on emerging policies and maintain system alignment with federal records governance requirements.
  • Coordinate with system developers and functional users to ensure metadata and records tagging is properly applied and maintained.

What you bring

Experience, Education & Training: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on work with RMF processes, eMASS, and compliance evaluations, with a Bachelors degree; or at least 7 years of relevant experience with an Associates degree.
  • Must have at least one of the following: o IAT-II or higher OR one of the following: CySA+, CCNA - Security, CND, or Security+ CE
  • Demonstrate prior experience applying DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to secure federal or DoD information systems.
  • Hands-on experience using the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to maintain system authorization packages.
  • Experience managing the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) through all six lifecycle phases.
  • Exhibit experience evaluating systems against compliance frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, and PHI.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with implementing Army and USACE records management policies to ensure compliance with data governance and legal requirements.

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Demonstrate strong technical writing and documentation skills through examples of past deliverables such as system plans, policies, or security documentation.
  • Show familiarity with using the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) to manage cybersecurity certification records.
  • Previous experience developing or integrating secure web applications using Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server, or Microsoft Power Platform.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
