NikSoft is currently conducting a search for an Asset Visibility and Security Engineer to add to its team in support of the United States Postal Service's Cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will experience an unparalleled large-scale and complex enterprise environment consisting of hundreds of thousands of Information Technology assets spanning servers, desktops, and IoT devices. Responsibilities:

Technical contributor that will be implementing USPS cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications and data, and employees within the Operational Technology (OT) environment supporting critical USPS mail and package handling systems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or relevant field.
  • 10+ years of security architecture and engineering experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment including Operational Technology (OT) security experience and application of asset visibility solutions towards OT hardware and software asset management security efforts
  • Experience supporting both OT operations and security efforts including network access control, USB attached device control, file integrity monitoring, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support.
  • Must have specific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Forescout, Armis Centrix, Splunk use and knowledge object development, Windows and Linux system administration, Database design and implementation.
  • Candidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH), strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.
  • Python scripting and automation experience is highly desired.

 

****Candidates must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance (US Citizenship or Green Card required). Additionally, candidates must not have traveled outside of the USA for a combined period not to exceed 6 months within the last 5 years.***
