About the Team:
Join AT&T's Identity and Access Management team as an Associate Director leading critical IAM operations that protect millions of users. This role combines deep IAM technical expertise with proven leadership skills to drive operational excellence and transform our organization into a best-in-class IAM operation.
You'll lead a high-performing team based in the U.S. and foster collaboration across international time zones. This opportunity allows you to shape enterprise-scale IAM strategy and execution while developing the next generation of IAM professionals in a rapidly evolving environment focused on delivering transformative results.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership
Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing IAM operations team focused on continuous learning and career development
Foster global collaboration to ensure seamless operations and unified team approach
Mature operational functions by implementing best practices, driving process efficiencies, and establishing metrics/KPIs for continuous improvement
Foster cross-functional collaboration across IT, security, and business stakeholders
Drive Core IAM Operations
Application Onboarding: Lead the integration of applications into our authentication services, IGA, and PAM solutions
Strategic Projects: Define, scope, and execute IAM initiatives that advance organizational security and operational maturity
Process Enhancements: Oversee IAM workflow tools and ServiceNow solutions to support identity management business processes
Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with IAM policies, manage risk remediation, and maintain service level agreements
Strategic Direction: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, conduct gap analysis, and partner with stakeholders to ensure IAM operations align with industry best practices and organizational security objectives
What You Bring
IAM Technical Expertise
10+ years of hands-on experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
Deep understanding of application onboarding, identity governance, access certification, and IAM compliance management
Comprehensive technical background in IAM operations and enterprise identity systems
Knowledge of NIST frameworks, compliance requirements, and enterprise security controls
Leadership Excellence
8+ years leading IAM operations teams in large organizations
Proven track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent
Experience managing international partnerships and collaboration
Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
Enterprise Experience
Large corporation experience with complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, dynamic settings
Track record of successfully leading organizational change initiative
