Department overview: The US CSC (Client Support Center) team provides global first line support of the Instinet’s trading environment and trading floor. The applicant must be highly motivated, able to work on their own initiative, have excellent attention detail whilst working in a high-pressured trading floor environment.
Role description:
We are looking for a candidate that is capable of working in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To support Instinet’s bespoke systems including its trading applications, market data and exchange connectivity.
- To provide 1st, 2nd line support, working closely with development, business and key stake holders.
- Problem ownership, from incident to resolution.
- System checks, proactive alert monitoring.
- To provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES ASSESSMENT
- Series 7/63 licensing preferred.
- Good understanding on global Equities / Options markets and trading order flow.
- Help Desk / Trading Operations support experience
- FIX and Unix knowledge preferred.
- Experience with front end trading applications
- Strong ability to multitask and be detail-oriented.
- Experience with Service request and ticketing tracking tools experience i.e. Jira
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good teamwork skills and ability to build solid relationships.
Qualifications:
- Trading Operations background, 1-2 years work experience, preferred experience with brokers or trading vendors
