Customer Strategy and Engagement Solutions Advisor
The Customer Strategy and Engagement Solutions Advisor supports the sales efforts of FedEx Transportation Management by analyzing RFI/RFP opportunities, designing creative business solutions, and developing pricing and proposal materials. This role plays a key part in ensuring outstanding customer experiences and driving strategic growth through solution design and sales enablement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze incoming RFI and RFP requests and support sales in pursuing qualified opportunities.
- Create detailed profit and loss (P&L) models for internal use and pricing files for customer proposals.
- Participate in solution design, pricing strategy, proposal development, and presentation creation.
- Collaborate with sales, lines of service, and operating companies to design innovative business solutions.
- Facilitate sales leads through the solution design, proposal, and pricing process.
- Complete RFI and RFP responses with accuracy and strategic alignment.
- Develop, maintain, and utilize pricing models in coordination with the sales process.
- Maintain libraries of sales and marketing content, RFI/RFP responses, and presentation materials.
- Create and manage sales pipeline reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested.
- Ensure accuracy and formatting of inputs; generate and run reports in Salesforce for Managed Transportation and Consulting opportunities.
- Uphold the Purple Promise by delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Economics required.
- 5--7 years of experience in solution design, sales support, implementation, project management, and facilitation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Salesforce reporting and data management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Customer service oriented and strong team collaborator.
