Customer Service Representative – Pump Service

Overview

The Customer Service Representative will be working with a tight knit technical service support team providing the highest level of customer support by performing order entry, invoicing, parts, and product purchasing from Rain Bird and external vendors. Creates estimates, reviews and edits orders for nomenclature and pricing validity. Includes comprehensive project management ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction throughout the services lifecycle. Position also entails organized record keeping managing each step of the services projects.

Responsibilities

• Track all dispatched field service work to ensure customer satisfaction and proper closure of all projects.
• Maintain clear records of communications and project information.
• Promptly and efficiently issue purchase orders to component suppliers.
• Directly process internal paperwork necessary to bill for services rendered and parts provided.
• Handle customer calls to resolve administrative concerns and provide initial assessment of technical issues.
• Process invoicing to ensure services and products are paid within the terms and conditions of the agreement.
• Coordinate communications with team
• Various continuous improvement projects

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role
• Proven success in environments where attention to detail and organizational skills are required
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Accomplished customer service, leadership, and project management skills
• Exemplary judgment in ambiguous situations and creative problem solving
• Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• QuickBooks, and/or bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Experience with order processing
• Experience in buying/planning
• Ability to develop, document, execute, and improve repetitive business practices.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Bachelor’s Degree
