About Cobalt & Specialty Materials 

Mastering the cobalt value chain. Umicore’s expertise covers the sourcing, production and distribution of cobalt and nickel products. Umicore’s materials are at the heart of products we use every day such as rechargeable batteries, tools, paints and tires. Our recycling and refining processes give new life to cobalt and other metals and reduce environmental impacts. To meet the demands of our customers we cannot stand still. What you will be doing 

As our Customer Service Representative, you will be supporting sales by performing tasks necessary to achieve high customer satisfaction and generate revenue  Specifically, this will include:

• Facilitating sales and shipments by entering orders, obtaining freight quotations, making freight arrangements, and printing shipping documents;
• Promptly addressing customer requests and questions to ensure customer satisfaction;
• Serving as the liaison between the customer and various internal departments for efficient communication;
• Monitoring consignment sites and working with customers on reconciliations;
• Purchasing products for drop shipments;
• Invoicing; and,
• Other duties as needed.

 

Who we are looking for 

Our success is based on individuals who are ready to make the most of their skills and prepared to tackle any challenge they face.  As well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, you should have: 

• A high school diploma or equivalent;
• At least two years’ experience in a customer service field related to distribution, manufacturing, or shipping;  
• International shipment experience (preferred);
• Strong PC skills with the ability to learn new software quickly;
• Excellent organizational skills; and,
• Strong attention to detail.

This is a full-time day shift position at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility.  The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.
