Role Overview and Responsibilities

Introduction:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing support to program management, customer focused teams and exceptional service to assigned customers and accounts. The individual will be managing order acceptance, confirmations and necessary updates throughout the production cycle. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to validating pricing integrity, providing delivery updates and driving order fulfillment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a world‑class customer experience to assigned accounts.
  • Support program management in meeting customer requirements and responding to requests.
  • Receive and review customer orders for completeness; enter sales orders into the ERP system.
  • Maintain and update sales orders in the ERP system, incorporating customer‑driven changes in a timely manner.
  • Review current and forecasted orders with the customer focused team; reconcile discrepancies and open issues with customers.
  • Prepare and issue change orders based on program management direction.
  • Participate in customer focused team meetings and other team activities to support program objectives.

 

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

 

Location: 100% onsite in Greater Cleveland (Perry), Ohio 

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements:

  • Education/Experience/Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree or two to four years’ related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Language Ability: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear and professional reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, team members, and the public. The individual must demonstrate strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to collect and analyze data, solve practical problems, and work effectively with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must consistently maintain a professional and positive image in all situations while exercising sound judgment.  
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, slide‑presentation tools, internet browsers, email platforms, and business‑systems software.
