1. Act as a representative of Leer Inc., ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to quality and directly shapes a positive, seamless customer experience.
2. Own quote preparation, for your customers, by creating timely, accurate, and detailed quotes that position Leer to win the job.
3. Respond to customer inquiries with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
4. Build strong, collaborative relationships by keeping customers, distributors, and partners informed and engaged, recognizing that these connections are key to our long-term success and customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with the Technical Support Department to address and resolve warranty claims, technical inquiries, and customer issues.
6. Evaluate and document current business processes, actively identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Cross-train in all Leer CSR divisions to create a dynamic and flexible team.
8. Support the achievement of company sales goals.
9. Assist other departments with tradeshow preparation, distributor shipments, marketing projects, or other business initiatives as needed.
10. Ensure all responsibilities are executed in strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features, benefits, and pricing. Active listening skills are essential to understand customer needs.
2. Customer Focus: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service, combined with a talent for solution-focused communication and resolving customer concerns effectively.
3. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in office productivity software is required, with the ability to quickly learn and utilize ERP systems, automated quoting software, CRM systems (experience preferred), and other business tools. A strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and a keen eye for the safety and integrity of company data are essential..
4. Product/Service Knowledge: A willingness to gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes and product offerings. Knowledge of refrigeration is a plus but not required.
5. Team Player: Collaborates effectively with marketing, sales, accounting, and operations teams to ensure seamless workflows and shared goals.
6. Organization and Multi-Tasking: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple quotes, answer customer inquiries, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, pricing multiples, and percentages is essential.
Education and/or Experience
A high school diploma is required, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in an estimator or customer-facing role.
Physical Demands
Extended periods of time sitting and using a computer.
