Customer Service Representative

Nextern is hiring for the role Customer Service Representative. This role comes with competitive pay and a full benefits package (details below)

The Customer Service Representative will provide clerical, administrative, and organizational support to the Supply Chain Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responds to incoming inquiries with exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.

· Enters customer orders, verifies accuracy, provides timely responses.

· Reconciles open order reports with customer open order reports.

· Trouble shoots customer inquiries: incomplete paperwork, missing paperwork, packing slips, tracking shipments, inventory levels, etc.

· Sorting, filing and labeling paperwork

· Enter inter-company orders between International manufacturing facilities.

· Monitors due dates and coordinates outgoing shipments with cross-functional departments.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, at least 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Computer skills required: Manufacturing Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Inventory Software; Order Processing Systems; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);

· Other skills required:

o Excellent grammar, spelling and client-relationship skills.

o Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.

o Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and experience frequent interruptions.

o Must possess high level of initiative, organization and problem-solving skills.

o Must possess excellent customer service skills.

o High degree of professionalism.

o Must have a “can-do” attitude and be a team player

o Impeccable attention to detail, adept at problem solving and strong follow-though.
