The Customer Service Manager will have responsibility for improving customer service excellence across Collins’ portfolio to our customers globally and will act as a customer point of contact for administrative performance issues within the Wilson MRO facility. 

This position will also be responsible for the preparation, review and assisting senior management of key Collins’s customer scorecards.  The candidate will interface across strategic business units and site locations in performing their duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers to understand accounts payable/receivable issues.

  • Assist senior management in driving performance improvements within the Collins organization, and work with the specific sites regarding customer service related issues.

  • Drive continuous improvement through development of robust customer administrative recovery plans, consistent with the Collins internal quality operating system that provide sustained long-term performance improvements.

  • Review and coordinate with operational teams in the Wilson MRO on specific initiatives required to drive improvement and ensure recovery plans are aligned with strategic actions.

  • Assist and train various functional Customer Administration Management (CAM) team on the use of office applications and tools that are common for ERP (enterprise relational programs) and data repositories.

  • Represent and present in meetings and monthly review to customers and senior Wilson MRO management.

  • May travel to Collins service center sites, as well as customer locations in support of Customer administrative recovery efforts.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations require. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

  • Previous customer service/customer administration experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous management and/or leadership experience is preferred.

  • Avionics experience, specifically in MRO environment preferred.

  • Experience with SAP.
