Customer Service assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking for energetic and warm peoples person to work at our beautiful center in Fljotsdal valley, East Iceland. It is a part-time position with minimum 16 hours per week / weekend work. The position is temporary and only for the entirety for the month of August.

Accommodation is included in the position (1 room in staff house)

Tasks and responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly manner, take them to services while providing information of the center and surroundings. 
• Handle payments (cash and electronic). 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the museum and work area, including occasional cleaning and maintenance tasks inside and outside the musuem. 
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive atmosphere.

Skills and requirements

• Fluent in Icelandic and English
