  • Mon-Fri/ 1 Saturday a month
  • Part Time as Needed role
  • Days and PM shifts

Major Responsibilities:

  • Creates appointments in computerized scheduling system, reflecting patient’s schedule preference, age and order appropriateness.
  • Analyses patients order and reports for accuracy
  • Communicates with physician offices pertaining to correct ordering and released reports
  • Accurately transcibe incoming faxed orders into Epic
  • Printing and committing imaging reports
  • Downloading images into PACs
  • Creating requistions for outside imaging and merging in PACs
  • Triages phone calls from outside sources and processes imaging requests and releases in a    timely manner,
  • Knowledge of breast imaging computer system to pull and push cases


Education Required:

High School Diploma

Experience Required:

Two years previous office experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Good communication skills and proficiency with computer terminal input/maintenance. Familiarity with radiology terminology preferred.


Physicial Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with established time constraints. Ability to transport objects form one location to another. Ability to work weekends and evening hours as assigned.
  • If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
