General Description / Primary Purpose: This is work performing housekeeping duties including cleaning restrooms, classrooms, offices, common-use areas, and carpet and tile floors in accordance with the APPA cleaning standards.

Job Function: 85% - Clean and maintain restrooms, classrooms,offices, kitchens,conference rooms, banquet rooms, large assembly rooms, auditoriums, halls, common areas, stairways, elevators, building entrance areas, windows, doors and display cases. 10% - Perform additional floor cleaning and maintenance duties. This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.

Marginal Functions: 5% - Supplementary responsibilities. a) special set-up requests; b) graduations; c) provides manpower during events; d) cleans up after events; e) work orders; f) receives and delivers supplies; g) assists other departments as needed; h) picks up materials from vendors.

Required Qualifications: Completion of ninth (9th) grade required; HS Diploma preferred.
