Non-Special Education Teacher Aide

Job Description:

This work involves responsibility for the performance of routine classroom duties and non-professional tasks to assist teachers in the classroom.  Duties include performance of mechanical functions such as managing records and materials, attending to students, distributing and collecting papers.  Specific tasks will vary depending on the job assignment. The individual will need the ability to take direction, be flexible, be patient, and work collaboratively as a team member. Regarding physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position, requirements may include the abilities to regularly and repetitively stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, crawl, and kneel up to 40lbs.  Regular attendance and dependability are required.  Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirement: Civil Service � Non-competitive High School Diploma or GED required
Salary: Anticipated starting salary range is $19.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.  Excellent benefits package.
