Benefits to You

Position Highlights

The Linn County Circuit Court in Albany, Oregon, is hiring a Court Operations Specialist.

In this role, you will start new protective order cases and perform case management and records management duties. This work includes performing data entry, reviewing files for accuracy and completeness, determining next steps, updating case information, making copies, and routing files. You will go into the courtroom daily during Abuse Prevention Hearings and help self-represented parties understand service processes and how to appear for contested hearings. You will also process paperwork related to firearms declarations and communicate with the District Attorney’s office.

You will help attorneys, parties, agencies, and the public use the court system. You will answer questions about document entry, case processing, dockets, scheduling, and the court calendar. You will help court customers use the public computer terminals. You will also explain OJD and local court policies and procedures.

You will spend part of your time as a back-up cashier and will help our Domestic Relations unit by providing customer service at the counter and over the phone.

Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
