Your role in our mission
- Position will be primarily responsible for maximizing cash flow by timely submittal of invoices to client. Approximately 15 invoices are generated each month.
- Work with operations, our client and outside vendors to develop deadline for invoice supporting document generation and follow up to ensure that deadline is made. Also review backup to ensure it is adequate to meet contractual requirements.
- Monitor status of vendor invoice submittals to procurement system and obtain client approvals for vendor invoices on timely basis. Contact vendors for any discrepancies noted and follow through to either final invoice approval or resubmittal request to vendor for a corrected invoice.
- Approve cost reimbursable invoices for payment in procurement system after receipt notification and after obtaining approval from client for payment.
- Coordinate with procurement team to ensure payments to vendors are being made timely and in accordance with contractual terms. May require follow-up on late or overdue items.
What we're looking for
- Experience with budgeting, invoicing and general ledger maintenance.
- Experience with variance analysis and investigation/reconciliation of account balances.
- Experience in presenting financial concepts and information to management team as well as client staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality regarding employee/contractor information.
What you should expect in this role
- Prefer a resident of the state of California, but not necessary.
- Primarily remote work. May occasionally report onsite for meetings, special training requests, or other business needs. The office is in West Sacramento.
- Reliable high-speed internet connectivity is required.

- Accountability for individual work assignments and projects.
The pay range for this position is $55,300.00 - $79,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
