Cost Accounting Manager

RoseRyan, a leading accounting consulting firm based in Silicon Valley, is seeking a talented and experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our team. As the Cost Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the cost accounting activities for our clients. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing cost information, maintaining expense databases, and preparing budget reports. In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain cost information and expenses database
• Develop and implement data accumulation systems
• Determine fixed and variable costs
• Review standard and actual costs for accuracy
• Prepare budgeting reports for the company and various departments
• Analyze and report profit margins
• Prepare cost forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategic solutions
• Inventory count management

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, or similar role
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Integrity and ability to handle confidential information

Hourly range: $60 - $120/hr
