Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 40% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (2-3 days in office per week).
The Corporate Strategy and Development Manager will assist the business units in identifying and devising methodical and analytical strategies to drive profitable growth, perform evaluations of strategies to achieve decisions and track and analyze economic and industry developments to derive opportunities and consequences for Bosch Power Tools North America.
The responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead business units in creating methodical and analytical strategies to drive profitable growth. Understands the North American Power Tool market including segments, channels, products and competitors. Understand strengths and weaknesses of Power Tools North America versus the competitors.
- Facilitate semi annual market sizing calculations process, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data, while providing general guidance to team as needed.
- Derive opportunities and determine threats for Power Tools North America business from relevant economic industry developments and make recommendations to management. Continuously evaluate market for business development opportunities including potential targets for mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required
- 7+ years of experience in a corporate department or management consulting
- Experience in market and competitive intelligence through comparable activities in e.g. market research institutes, sales or comparable positions
- Experience in steering cross-functional, cross-regional teams including presentations at a board level
- Excellent conceptional & analytical skills
