Based in the Hong Kong office, the Team Manager ("TM") will assist Assistant Vice President of WPS Asia to manage a team of corporate services administration professionals at varying experience levels in addition of their own small portfolio of companies and partnerships, working closely with the relevant responsible attorneys in accordance with Walkers' policy and such other responsibilities as Senior Management shall from time to time determine.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

• Management of a team of Corporate Services Executives, Administrators and Assistants with their own portfolios;

• To ensure the team deliver quality and handle administrative matters from attorneys, clients and external service providers relating to the assigned portfolio of companies and partnerships, originating responses and updating and providing registers and documents as required;

 • To offer on job guidance to the new joiners as well as existing members;

• To maintain a harmonious working atmosphere;

• To maintain the client database including ViewPoint, where relevant, in relation to the assigned portfolio and to assist with the ongoing task of maintaining the database's integrity;

• To drive the team to meet different regulatory deadlines and ensure all statutory rules and regulatory requirements are met;

• To ensure time recording accurately and invoices issued in a timely manner in interim and year end billing schedule; 

• To be involved in the employment process and conduct performance review with the team regularly; 

• Develops leadership presence with management support at the department level;

• Manages the resources available effectively to meet planned objectives for initiatives;

• Delegation of work and allocation/reallocation of portfolio with the team based on resources and a fair/equitable split based on Team members roles and capacity;

• To follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable within agreed time-frames and be ultimately accountable for the collective accounts receivable position of the Team which they manage;

• Such other tasks as assigned by Assistant Vice President or Director may request from time to time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is required to supervise and manage a team of Corporate Services Executives, Administrators and Assistants;

• Oversee the outstanding accounts receivable position of the Team which they manage. 

Education, Skills & Experience

• The individual must hold an undergraduate degree with at least 7 years relevant experience gain in professional firms;

• Associate Member of HKCGI, and/or an undergraduate degree in a business related subject. Solid corporate administration experience is required; • Experience in supervising a company secretarial team;

• Strong knowledge of annual and regulatory requirements relating to Cayman and BVI entities;

• Excellent written and oral communications skills in Chinese & English are essential, fluency in Putonghua is preferred;
