About the role

The Corporate Security Guard is responsible for providing a security presence within the Corporate Office and conducting applicable security duties as assigned during normal business hours.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Meet, escort, and observe visitors in the facility
  • Oversee an assigned area of the facility, provide visible support through patrols
  • Monitor access points in person or via CCTV
  • View CCTVs, record suspicious activity, or requests from Senior Leadership, Great Teams!, etc.
  • Report infractions to management, maintain metrics as agreed upon
  • Perform random and scheduled security and pocket checks as assigned
  • Complete and submit weekly reports
  • Communicate with facility leadership, clients and vendors in a professional manner
  • Follow professional uniformed dress code
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Oversee evacuations, coordinate emergency response as required
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement as required

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications:

  • High School High School Diploma or GED
    required
  • 1-3 years 1-2 years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
    required
  • Ability to effectively communicate at various levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Meet requirements of NC DPS for private security
