This position is responsible for the development and coordination of short term and long range strategic real estate plans and objectives based upon over-arching organizational goals and objectives. As the leader of Corporate Real Estate (CRE), you will oversee the development of, and often develop directly, feasibility studies, evaluation of viable alternatives and the ability to balance business needs. The position will manage third-party real estate partner(s) and related staff, in addition to leading collaboration and engagement between service partners, business leaders, finance, and other relevant functions to drive seamless, outcome-predicted real estate management success. The role is also responsible to provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development and implementation of a master real estate plan, by executing real estate planning and strategy best practices to influence a comprehensive, detailed, and efficient strategy resulting in cost-effective and high-performing facilities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance strategic portfolio planning and real estate by actively collaborating with real estate partners, business leaders, finance, and other related functions, and leading all real estate aspects
• Implement and continuously improve key strategic real estate planning processes
• Proactively identify strategies to optimize real estate portfolio
• Conceptualize and guide short term and long-range real estate planning activities, including analytical evaluation of the portfolio
• Ascertain current and upcoming needs, vision and goals as they relate to the CRE portfolio and make recommendations for needs planning, which aligns with company policies and leadership vision/objectives/goals
• Maintain regional and enterprise-wide business and real estate intelligence to capitalize on real estate market opportunities as well as to react to time sensitive projects and business initiatives
• Develop and manage relationships with senior executives and leadership of business units
• Develop executive level presentation materials for business unit reviews, leadership meetings and other operational and data related topics
• Partner with the business on space and occupancy planning to understand utilization and opportunities within the portfolio
• Perform other duties as requested
