The Corporate Giving & Events Manager plays a key role in relationship and fund development for Cherry Health Foundation, primarily responsible for a comprehensive corporate partner program, event sponsorships, and creatively planning and managing strategic fund- and friend-raising events. Events currently include two large signature events, multiple small offerings, and facility tours.
This manager will execute a special events calendar of opportunities, ensuring programs align with Cherry Health’s mission and support the Foundation’s goals of attendance, fund development, attendee experience, and donor stewardship. The position requires a high level of involvement and commitment to establish and maintain professional relationships with corporate and major donors, colleagues, and fundraising volunteers.
Business hours Monday through Friday, though occasional, early morning, night and, rarely, weekend work may be required to accomplish the essential job functions of this position.
Must adhere to the organizational Policies, Procedures, Code of Ethics, and all licensing and accreditation standards of the position. Must represent the organization’s Mission in all actions and communications.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited college/university, in event or nonprofit management preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above.
- Four or more consecutive years of successful fundraising event planning and management experience in the nonprofit sector required.
- Three or more years of corporate giving generation required.
- Recruiting, organizing, and managing various fundraising project and goal-specific volunteers required.
- Reliable transportation required as this role will demand regular travel for work related tasks and events.
