What you’ll be responsible for:
Circle is looking for a dynamic Director to join our Corporate FP&A team. As a vital member of the team, you will collaborate closely with department leaders to provide essential insights into budgets, forecasts and key metrics to support decision making. You will also play a key role in putting together our quarterly analyses and forecasts for the board of directors for which our team works directly with the CFO to help craft the analyses and messaging.
What you'll work on:
- Engaging directly with leaders and budget stakeholders across the organization to facilitate forecasting of key operational spend areas including vendor spend and headcount during annual planning and quarterly board updates. Become a thought partner to business leaders to help them understand their spend and prioritize initiatives.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to reduce variance in forecasts and improve understanding of variance drivers.
- Playing a key role in the creation of quarterly board of director and investor level financial presentations in direct collaboration with the CFO, helping to shape our narrative.
- Applying advanced financial analysis techniques to provide insights on critical and bespoke business issues, enabling senior stakeholders to make well-informed choices.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving corporate financial models that forecast, track, and analyze our financials including all three financial statements.
- Contributing to the evolution of Circle’s finance capabilities by being a key part of ERP and EPM implementation processes and actively seeking to improve finance processes across the organization.

What you’ll bring to Circle:
- Bring a minimum of 12+ years of FP&A experience, marked by a proven ability to lead the opex budgeting process with cross functional owners end to end.
Advanced proficiency and past experience in working with financial systems and building FP&A models in planning tools; Oracle, SAP, or Anaplan preferred.
- Ability to build and nurture partnerships with stakeholders at all levels with effective communication.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, using these tools effectively to create meaningful financial insights.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, how the financial statements interact, and an ability to digest dynamic three statement models.
