Basic Function
Responsible for the execution of maintenance and construction activities utilizing the resident and 3rd party contractors.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand contracts and approve time and materials based on contract
- Oversee safe and responsible work execution of all maintenance activities in assigned area.
- Perform field audits of contractor performance, correcting deficiencies in GoalZERO and work practices.
- Track the progress of multiple maintenance activities in the field. Doing this will assure effective job execution and helps in forecasting remaining work scope and final costs.
- Approve Service Entries. Facilitate PO additions in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback to Purchasing based on contractor’s performance utilizing ISNetWorld and GAPS.
- Participate in contract bid process including site visits.
- Facilitate contractor time, material, and damage disputes.
- Execute host responsibility for all contractors.
- Review job packages in advance of work being scheduled.
- Ensures updates to the daily schedule is accurate and timely
- Supports the development of the maintenance schedule and coordinates 3rd party services and resident contractors to ensure manpower requirements are met when work commences.
- Assures the permit process is efficient and effective for all contractor work.
- Lead outage execution and provide timely updates to Leadership
- Assures the Maintenance team is knowledgeable in the policies and procedures to comply with all HSE&S requirements.
- Assists in the procurement of materials and contract resources for jobs.
- Performs tracking functions to ensure materials and resources are available for job.
- Assures rental equipment is returned timely
- Manages work priorities to best fit business needs.
- Stops unsafe work and correct unsafe work practices.
Min. Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance execution in the petrochemical industry.
- Preferred experience in supervising maintenance crafts or coordination of maintenance contractors.
- Must be proficient in computer applications such as SAP and Microsoft’s Office Suite products.
