Summary

The Cook Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations in Nutrition Services production areas assuring cost-effective services that meet or exceed quality standards. 

Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients, their families and with coworkers.

Schedule

• Casual position working various shifts as needed.
• 5:30AM to 8:00PM, various start times, 8-hour shifts and every other weekend

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $17.95 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience. 
  • Pay range: $21.00 - $25.89 per hour

 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in food service required.
• Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) Credential by the Association of Nutrition & 
  Foodservice Professionals/Certifying Board for Dietary 
  Managers required within 18 months; must be renewed at 
  minimum every 3 years. 1 1/2 Yrs Required
• Experience in food service supervision preferred.
• Dietary Manager Certificate (DMA) preferred.
• Strong verbal communication, reading and writing abilities.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Computer skills in Word and Excel.
