This position is a 40 hour per week position that may include weekends.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Monitor food supplies and order replacement items as needed
2. Process food sales using the cash register and POS machine
3. Cafe opening and closing duties of food preparation and cleaning
4. Prepare multiple orders simultaneously
5. Maintain a clean dining area and drink bar throughout the day
6. Cook and prepare menu and daily special items
7. Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner
8. Ability to work with minimum supervision

1. Punctual and dependable

3. Communicate with customers and employees in person, and on the phone
4. Basic mathematical knowledge
5. Basic commercial cooking skills with 3 years experience in a commercial kitchen
6. Food safety

Reporting Relationship:

This position reports to the Cafe Manager.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional food service environment.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:

1. Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a non-exempt position.

40-hour work week.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications:

1. 3 years Experience operating commercial, grills, fryers, and refrigeration 
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Acceptable driving record
4. Ability to pass a background check
5. Zero tolerance drug free employer includes pre-employment and random screening
