Shift Information:This position is Full-Time, working varied 8 hour shifts.Pay: $14 per hour minimum and can increase based on experience. Performs prep duties for future meals and prepares cold items such as salads, sandwiches and parfaits. Complies with regulatory requirements. Required Education: Ability to read and write.
Preferred Education:
High School graduate or G.E.D.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of cooking methods and procedures. Maintenance of food service related records, forms and inventories. Able to use and clean kitchen equipment. Ability to work from recipes and instruction, including verbal, written and demonstration. Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of therapeutic diets, age specific dietary needs and HIPAA requirements.
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
ServSafe or HACCP certification current Required Experience:
1 year experience working in an institutional or restaurant kitchen
Preferred Education:
High School graduate or G.E.D.
