Job Purpose or Objective(s): Adds value to the procurement process and protects tribal sovereignty by providing contract life-cycle support to all procurement activity requiring contract execution. Ensure compliance with established CNO procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity to meet financial and customer service goals. You will report to the Senior Contract Administrator.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will process requests to establish new procurement contracts, non-disclosure agreements, bailment agreements, credit applications, and contract renewals.
2. Conduct research for contract terminations.
3. Identify potential issues with accuracy and completeness of current and historical contract information and assist with corrective actions in the contract management software system.
4. Promote communication between the Procurement Department and the Legal Department for all procurement contract activity.
5. You will manage priority legal review requests for buyers.
6. Monitor existing contracts that require maintenance for renewal or termination actions and communicate information to department managers.
7. Coordinate the review of contractual agreements with Choctaw Legal Department.
8. Facilitate contract renewals, terminations, and contract extensions with suppliers.
9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 10-key, keyboarding and Microsoft proficiency
· 3+ years experience with computer applications including Microsoft Suite
· Three (3) years of purchasing or materials management experience
