Job Description
This onsite internship will work directly in the North America Technical Strategy Area in charge of developing and deploying the strategy in conjunction with all the site leaders. Strategies are defined base on the key performance indicators from the business worldwide and the operations indicators at each site. Also responsible for tracking the activities to ensure the strategy is being followed as well as the indicator achieved on each facility.
- Support the coordination of Operations and Research and Development Conferences with the preparation of the event logistics (location, material, vendor management, etc) and assist developing the content for the workshop
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement projects starting with the visualization of standardized KPIs within the organization. Elaboration on Regional Key Performance Indicators dashboards in collaboration with Business Digital Office.
- Assist in the creation of a clear internal view of communication inside the organization by establishing the proper information of the facilities Intranet.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- In process of Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, industrial Engineering, or related degree.
- Desirable course work and willing to support knowledge in Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and / or Technical Functions (Ex problem solving, lean manufacturing, etc)
- Academic project management experience, desirable knowledge of dashboards such as PowerBI.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, and Word
- Customer oriented and team working
