The Principal Research Scientist VII (Contested Logistics SME) is an on-call position that will support new contested logistics initiative within the Research Institute.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Assist Artificial Intelligence Lab for Contested Logistics Director in developing overall UAH Contested Logistics Strategy
• Engage with external customers, identifies opportunities, and develops proposals in collaboration with RI Director for new projects in contested logistics
• Work specifically with Army Materiel Command headquarters in managing systems engineering efforts and data engineering projects to support Army requirements. Involved with materiel readiness solutions to synchronize and integrate Army total capabilities in support of Army priorities and combatant command requirements, supporting supply chain, synchronizing logistics and sustainment activities.
Minimum Requirements:
• Ph.D. with 10 - 10.5 years of full-time verifiable work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor's or higher degree required)
• Excellent customers service skills
• Previous logistics experience
• U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications:
• Retired general officer experience with 20+ years of experience
• projects experience in contested logistics
• Prior proposals experience
• Experience supporting supply chain management
Published Salary (if available):
$93.89 - $100.00 (FTE=$195,297 - $208,000)
