The Role
We are currently seeking a Content Strategist to join our Creative Studio and Web team as part of the larger Communications and Marketing organization at Addepar.
This role involves conducting content audits and gap analyses to assess existing content for effectiveness, identifying outdated content and opportunities for optimization. You will leverage analytical thinking, creativity, and collaboration to align content with business objectives, user needs and brand guidelines.
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $94,000 - $147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do
- Content Strategy and Vision: You will define content vision and goals for product launches, marketing campaigns and executive thought leadership programs by creating strategic frameworks to maintain consistent content structure, voice, and tone
- Content Audits and Optimization: You will conduct content audits and gap analyses to assess existing content for effectiveness while identifying outdated content and opportunities for optimization. You will also be responsible for developing an operational process for content archiving to maintain an organized, relevant content library
- Editorial Calendar Management: You will create and manage editorial calendars that outline content themes, formats, schedules and distribution channels
- SEO and content optimization: You will be responsible for maintaining content guidelines that incorporate SEO best practices, collaborating with our web and performance marketing teams to ensure content effectively reaches its intended audience. Additionally, you will optimize content for professional social platforms such as LinkedIn and X to maximize engagement and reach
- Content project management and workflow optimization: You will oversee the content production process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content. This involves working with writers, designers and web developers as part of the Creative Studio and Web team, while tracking workflows on Monday.com
- Leverage segment and persona research: You will analyze our audience’s needs, pain points, motivations and behaviors, and subsequently align these insights with appropriate content frameworks
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will serve as a bridge between the Product Marketing, Performance Marketing and Corporate Communications teams to ensure our content aligns with the broader goals of the department and company
- Measure and analyze content performance: You will track content performance metrics and analyze this data to understand what's working, identify areas for improvement and iterate on the content strategy to grow our digital channels
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field
- Preferably 5+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing or a related role, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry. Agency experience is also a plus
- Able to work in the office 2-3 days per week in our NYC headquarters.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful content strategies
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., Monday, Salesforce, Marketo) is preferred
- Experience with CMS systems like Wordpress is preferred.
