About the Role:

We are looking for an innovative and organized Content Ops Program Manager to help lead and drive initiatives within Content Operations. In this role you will serve as the main point of contact for Content Operations within large cross-team initiatives, exhibiting excellent communication and leadership abilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners in Tubi’s engineering, business development, product etc. to ensure a unified approach to business and product goals and you will be overseeing a team of processors, QC associates and metadata associates in Tempe, AZ as we grow our efforts in that facility.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Tubi Content Ops team in the Tempe, Arizona facility
• Handle coordination and decision making for live events on Tubi.  This includes working with production, being in constant communication with live operations teams and communicating with various stakeholders as needed.  This will include working nights and weekends.
• Identify, document, and track all key Content Operations initiatives 
• Lead and participate in kick off meetings, identifying and engaging all relevant stakeholders 
• Create project plans/schedules for tracking milestones and deliverables - assigning action items and ensuring progress is made towards program objectives
• Create dashboards and reports providing status updates and highlighting program/project risks and issues as well as potential mitigation plans
• Manage and prioritize functional roadmap of internal and third party software tools 
• Facilitate vendor relationships, inclusive of describing operations workflows, exploring systems integrations and day to day communications
• Create collaborative relationships with team members across many departments including Content Acquisitions, Product and Engineering
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new employees 
• Assist in coordinating meetings for VP of Content Ops

Your Background:

• 5+ years within a Program/Project management role
• 3+ years within a managerial role
• Polished communication and the ability to tailor communications to each audience
• Effective organizational skills able to maintain focus on high level objectives while paying close attention to details within each project
• Deep understanding of content operations within a media/entertainment company
• Knowledge of the streaming industry and strong interest in exploring and implementing the latest technologies
• General understanding of cloud service technology, content management systems, transcoding, metadata ingestion
• Experience with various file formats of audio, video, and closed captions/subtitle files. 
• Experience working with software engineering teams and the software development lifecycle
• Passionate fan of Movies & TV
