About the role

CONTENT MARKETER

You'll own where Firecrawl shows up when someone goes looking for an answer, and increasingly, "someone" is a model. AI overviews, LLM answers, and Google results are now the front door to our product, and most companies are still guessing at how to win there. You won't be. You'll write and tune content across every surface we own, run a tight tweak-and-measure loop, and treat visibility as an engineering problem with words as the input. One sentence in one blog post can change how we get summarized in an AI overview. That's the level you'll work at. You'll report to our Growth Marketing Lead and own real surface from day one.

Salary Range: $200,000–$223,000/year (Range shown is for U.S.-based employees in San Francisco, CA. Compensation is adjusted fairly based on your location's cost of living.)

Equity Range: Competitive equity — details shared during the process.

Location: San Francisco, CA (Preferred) OR Remote (Americas, UTC-3 to UTC-10)

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 3+ years in content marketing, SEO, or growth content for a technical or developer-facing product

Visa: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We're not able to sponsor visas right now, though that may change down the line.

ABOUT FIRECRAWL

Firecrawl is the easiest way to turn the web into data AI agents can use. One API call converts any URL into clean, LLM-ready markdown or structured data - the boring-hard problem everyone building with LLMs eventually hits, solved.

We hit 8 figures in ARR in year one and more than doubled it in year two. We have 175k+ GitHub stars, and developers, agents, and category-defining AI companies build on us every day. Growth like this is rare, and we're just getting started.

We're a small team punching far above our weight. Everyone here owns a real piece of the product and company, end to end, and runs it themselves - no hiding behind process or headcount.

This is a place for people who want to work at the frontier: an AI company building the infrastructure other AI companies run on, not one bolting AI onto an existing product. We move fast, go deep, and are building the tools superintelligence will rely on to gather data from the web.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Make sure Firecrawl shows up where it matters, AI overviews, Google, and the answers LLMs give when someone asks how to solve the problem we solve

- Own and tune content across the blog, landing pages, homepage, and language pages, so each surface pulls its weight

- Build a repeatable read on what actually drives visibility, instead of shipping on vibes and best-practice folklore

- Write content technical enough that developers trust it and clear enough that a model can extract the answer from it

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- You've grown organic traffic for a technical or developer-facing product, and you can point at the numbers

- You've already been experimenting with how content shows up in AI answers, not because someone assigned it, but because you find it interesting

- You're comfortable in analytics: you can form a hypothesis, run the change, and read whether it worked

- You write well enough that developers don't bounce, and you're technical enough to understand what you're writing about

- You'd rather ship, measure, and iterate than perfect a content strategy deck

WHAT WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR

- A content calendar operator who measures success in posts published

- Someone who treats SEO as a checklist rather than an experiment

- Someone who can't get technical enough to write credibly about an API product

- Someone who needs a fully-specced brief to start

A NOTE ON PACE

We operate at an absurd level of urgency because the window for what we're building won't stay open forever. If that excites you, keep reading. If it doesn't, no hard feelings — but this role probably isn't for you.
