Summary:
The Consultant of Professional Services (CPS), is experienced with the implementation of PharmacyKeeper at the small to medium hospital level. This involves customer interaction and relationship development at the Pharmacy/Stakeholder level. In addition, the CPS guides the implementation process through demonstrated expertise of the technical processes of PharmacyKeeper. Projects range in scope from small to medium health system level implementations requiring standardization of BD Dispensing products. The effective CPS must be able to clearly communicate, thoroughly document and demonstrate BD Dispensing product implementation competency. This also involves working with the customer by gathering customer requirements, defining best practices, design decisions and policies and procedures consulting. The CPS effectively performs the required tasks to ensure timely go-lives and customer satisfaction. The CPS must have the ability to establish collaborative working relationships with cross-functional project teams. Project teams will include multiple disciplines from within BD and customer teams. The CPS is a mentor for both customers and internal team members.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate calls and meetings, establish rapport, and foster long-term business relationships with health systems, focusing on PharmacyKeeper implementations.
Guide the implementation process, demonstrate knowledge of pharmacy workflows, medication management, system integration, and interface validation, and conduct pre-implementation assessments and future state design.
Lead projects independently, produce timely status reports, complete internal and project documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Mentor team members and provide product information, aid customers in improving business operations, and act as a subject matter expert on BD Dispensing products.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensure effective governance mechanisms, and build high morale and team commitment to goals
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer science, Health Administration, or Sciences (Chemistry/Biology).
Expertise in HIS/PIS systems, pharmacy, and medication management workflows.
3+ years in a healthcare environment with technical systems involvement and computerized system applications.
Certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. This position may involve pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.
Ability to work independently in a home office.
Participation in on-call rotation as assigned, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Travel may range up to 80%, including overnight travel. Position requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in IV Workflow software technology and exposure to solution design processes.
Experience with small to medium-sized health systems.
