Job Title: Temporary Construction Site Supervisor

Location: Monmouth County, NJ

Duration: Temporary (Project-based) approximately 6 months starting April/May 2025

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our construction site in Monmouth County, NJ. This temporary position will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, ensuring the project runs smoothly, and meeting safety, quality, and schedule standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, leadership, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including coordinating labor, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and construction regulations, conducting safety inspections and addressing hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Resolve any on-site issues or delays to keep the project on track.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily site activities, progress, and issues.
• Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Provide clear communication to workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Assist with resource allocation and manage workforce schedules.
• Review and ensure proper handling of construction materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and zoning regulations.
• Schedule and facilitate required inspections and address any inspection-related issues promptly.

Reports to: Construction Manager

Requirements

• Proven experience as a construction site supervisor or similar role.
• Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with workers, contractors, and management.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contracts.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Construction-related degree or certifications preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of construction management or site supervision experience.
